Status update...

Just heard from uncle Doug.

The other kidney looks the same. This is a good thing.

The problem is that there is some kind of anomaly on his liver on the scan. They aren’t sure if it's a shadow or a mass. They are taking an x-ray tomorrow to get a better look. If there is a mass they will have to biopsy it. If it is cancerous they will do surgery to remove a portion of the liver. At least the good thing is that if they can only take a portion of it and the rest is healthy it will re-generate itself.

Needless to say the hernia is put on the back burner for now. It's not a priority until they see what's going on with the liver.
