So much for getting a block wall with tax refund. I did my taxes today and am $1,000 short of my lowest estimate!
I guess the reason it's lower this year is because of some thing passed to withold less taxes last year in order to keep more money in everyone's pockets due to the economic crunch.
Dont get me wrong I'm always relieved to see that I dont owe money each year. Because in 2004 I think we had to pay $700! But I'm really bummed that I wont have enough to put up my wall. Fat chance the neighbors will have the money to chip in to make up the difference, but I think Ren is going to ask. It's worth a try.
